This search tool gives you access to search for any excluded or sanctioned vendors (entities) included in Venops’ proprietary database, allowing you to identify any potential matches. A review of the extensive federal and state data included in our database is found below.
Unlike Instant Check, this tool does not provide instant clearance for any matches found. If an exact match or similar match is found, it is recommended that you submit a screening template to Venops for an official screening report and investigation.
To use this tool:
- Begin by clicking in the federal and state source bars to choose the various exclusion & sanction sources you want to include. Choose any combination of federal and/or state sources.
- Start typing the official name of a vendor/entity in the search bar.
- Give the system a few moments to search for the entered text and populate a response.
- Any similar vendor/entity names or exact matches will populate within a drop down list of results below the search bar.
- If you’re satisfied that no matches exist, delete the search bar entry and continue entering additional names as needed.
To save your search:
- Searches are only saved when you click the “SEARCH” button to view the results page.
- The results page displays a list of potential matches along with the specific database source(s) where those potential matches were found.
- All saved searches are available for on-demand export on a simple spreadsheet by a range of dates, similar to the Instant Check tool.
